International Tax Consultant – BEPS Pillar 2 (GCC/Asia)

About the role

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an experienced International Tax professional to join its Tax team and lead projects related to the OECD BEPS Pillar 2 (GloBE) framework. The role involves advising multinational clients on compliance, strategy, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret BEPS Pillar 2 regulations, including the Income Inclusion Rule (IIR) and Undertaxed Payments Rule (UTPR).
• Lead impact assessments, technical analysis, and quantification of CbCR data.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance with GloBE rules.
• Prepare models, calculate covered taxes, qualifying net income, and effective tax rates.
• Provide advisory on Pillar 2 modeling, safe‑harbour analysis, and data mapping.
• Track global tax trends and deliver strategic insights to clients.
• Support transfer‑pricing documentation, tax audits, and client communications.
• Train internal teams on BEPS Pillar 2 requirements and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in international tax compliance and advisory.
• Specific experience with BEPS Pillar 2/GloBE regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional engagements.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of BEPS Pillar 2, IIR, UTPR, and CbCR.
• Experience with tax impact modeling and ERP/tax accounting systems.
