Internal Auditor

About the role

NES Fircroft is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit & Assurance team in Bengaluru. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will support audit activities across a global organisation, helping to strengthen governance, improve controls, and manage risk.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit reviews, testing programmes, and monitoring activities in line with the annual audit plan.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Prepare risk‑based audit plans that align with business objectives and organisational priorities.
• Document audit evidence, findings, and recommendations in clear, concise reports.
• Collaborate with business leaders across functions to discuss audit outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Track management actions and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Provide guidance on risk management, compliance, and control‑related matters.
• Support special projects, investigations, and other assurance initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant audit or accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in internal audit, risk assessment, or related assurance functions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements.

Required skills

• Understanding of internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of audit planning, execution, and reporting processes.
• Familiarity with governance and compliance standards.
