Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will focus on the Home Loan portfolio, ensuring that loan disbursements, collections and related operational activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to safeguard the integrity of financial records and improve internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Audit Home Loan products, loan disbursements, collections and other operational processes.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of accounting entries, loan documents and supporting paperwork.
• Identify deviations, irregularities or non‑compliance and report findings.
• Assess internal controls, recommend improvements and help mitigate risks.
• Review loan applications, agreements, collateral valuations and documentation for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts, ledgers and financial records.
• Collaborate with Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to resolve audit findings.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and present recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Good understanding of banking and loan operations.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills for reporting findings.
