Internal Auditor – eCommerce

About the role

The Internal Auditor – eCommerce will join Valuestream Business Solutions in Bengaluru to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation of the company’s eCommerce operations. This full‑time, on‑site position involves auditing processes, systems, and transactions while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular process and operational audits of eCommerce workflows, systems, and transactions.
• Review financial records and analyze data trends to identify risks and control gaps.
• Assess internal controls and prepare audit reports with clear findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address identified gaps and monitor corrective actions.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices to strengthen governance.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of internal audit experience within the eCommerce industry.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, spot trends, and evaluate risks.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing audit reports.
• Effective communication skills for presenting audit outcomes and working with teams.
• Relevant degree in finance, accounting, commerce or related field; professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CA, CPA) are a plus.
• Knowledge of risk management, internal control frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO.
• Attention to detail and high integrity when handling financial information.
