Internal Audit Specialist

About the role

The Internal Audit Specialist will support the audit function by executing risk‑based audits, assessing key business processes, and contributing to internal control improvements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of risk‑based audits.
• Assess risk of key business processes and develop audit plans and programs.
• Create process maps for significant financial, business, and operational processes to identify control weaknesses.
• Prepare clear and concise audit findings and recommendations.
• Support special projects related to departmental quality initiatives.
• Assist with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance reviews.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of progressively responsible audit experience in a Big 4, multinational, or internal audit environment.
• Proven ability to work in teams and deliver on‑time results.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across all business levels.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time within Asia.
• Fluency in English; additional Asian language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal controls.
• Understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Project management experience.
