Internal Audit Consultant – Business Process Controls

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant in Business Process Controls Advisory within its Audit & Assurance practice. You will work with diverse teams to design, manage, and implement risk‑centric solutions for large, complex organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and lead client interviews, communications and follow‑ups.
• Perform SOX and Internal Audit reviews, including controls testing and SSAE18 assessments.
• Execute internal audit assurance activities across financial, operational, compliance and strategic risk areas.
• Identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate risk implications and advise clients on remediation.
• Prepare audit programs, determine procedures, and see audits through to completion.
• Create internal control documentation such as narratives, process flows and work papers.
• Present concise findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Required skills

• SOX compliance and testing.
• SSAE18 review experience.
• Knowledge of EQARs and internal audit standards.
