Internal Audit Analyst

About the role

The Internal Audit Analyst will join the Finance & Administration, Internal Audit Department in Bangalore. Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, the role focuses on executing a risk‑based audit plan covering operational, financial and compliance audits across conferences, geographic units and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning and execution of integrated audits.
• Execute audit procedures to assess control adequacy and effectiveness, delivering work within agreed timeframes and budget.
• Ensure compliance with departmental standards and thoroughly document test work.
• Draft high‑quality audit issues with quantification for inclusion in executive audit reports.
• Communicate audit findings and associated risks to management clearly and respectfully.
• Build strong partnerships with business and technology partners through a collaborative approach.
• Continuously develop knowledge of audit and technology‑related risks through training.
• Contribute to special projects and administrative tasks (approximately 10% of time).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• 2‑4 years of auditing experience in public accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA or CIA are a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Technologically savvy with strong interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Apps (Google Workspace).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with Oracle NextGen and GRC tools (preferred).
