Intermediate Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our FOS products team. Reporting to a Senior Engineer or the Director of Software Engineering, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of scalable SaaS solutions. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in full‑stack development who is eager to grow technically, take ownership of complex features, and collaborate across teams to deliver high‑quality, maintainable products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality cloud‑based SaaS applications.
• Contribute to application modernization, refactoring and maintaining existing applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoring to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Assist with maintaining SOC2 compliance through secure coding and access control practices.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to resolve production incidents.
• Support containerization using Docker and deployments to AWS.
• Conduct code reviews ensuring performance, reliability, and security best practices.
• Create and maintain technical and end‑user documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in SaaS or web application development.
• Experience building applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and backend development (.NET, Node.js).
• Understanding of cloud platforms, Docker, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, monitoring).
• Exposure to SOC2 or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
