Interior Designer

About the role

NESTARC, a leading interior design firm in Goa, is looking for a full‑time Interior Designer to work on‑site in North Goa. You will create concept designs, space plans and detailed layouts for residential and commercial projects, translating client needs into functional and aesthetic interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, mood boards and design presentations for client meetings.
• Prepare space plans, detailed layouts and construction drawings.
• Select finishes, materials and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, equipment) in line with project budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors and site teams to ensure design intent and quality.
• Monitor site execution, review drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to project documentation, budgeting inputs and continuous improvement of design standards.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Strong visualisation, aesthetic sense and up‑to‑date knowledge of materials and design trends.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for client and vendor interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work on‑site as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.
• Solid space‑planning abilities for residential and commercial interiors.
• Knowledge of architecture fundamentals to integrate interior concepts with building design.
• Experience producing and interpreting construction drawings and technical details.
