Interior Design Project Manager

About the role

The Interior Design Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of interior fit‑out projects, overseeing planning, client interaction, financial performance and execution quality from concept to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Gantt charts and critical‑path analysis.
• Track project health through KPIs, dashboards and regular reporting.
• Identify risks early, implement corrective actions and manage change orders.
• Serve as the primary client contact, handling approvals, milestone sign‑offs and issue resolution.
• Coordinate design, procurement and site teams to ensure execution aligns with drawings and timelines.
• Manage billing cycles, RA bills, invoicing and cash‑flow monitoring via ERP systems.
• Implement QA/QC standards, ensure code compliance and drive snag closure before handover.
• Control costs, negotiate with vendors and pursue value‑engineering opportunities.

Required profile

• Engineering or Architecture degree.
• 5–10 years of experience managing interior fit‑out projects (₹5–50 Cr).
• Proven client management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts and billing processes.
