Interior Design Project Manager

About the role

The Interior Design Project Manager will own end‑to‑end delivery of interior fit‑out projects, from initial planning through final handover. You will be responsible for timelines, client relationships, financial performance, and execution quality across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules using Gantt charts and critical‑path planning.
• Track project health through KPIs, dashboards, and post‑project reviews.
• Identify risks early, implement corrective actions, and manage change orders.
• Act as primary client contact, secure approvals, resolve issues, and drive client satisfaction.
• Coordinate design, procurement, and site teams to ensure execution aligns with drawings and timelines.
• Manage billing cycles, RA bills, invoicing, cash flow, and collections.
• Implement QA/QC standards, ensure code compliance, and drive snag closure before handover.
• Control costs, negotiate with vendors, and lead value‑engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• Engineering or Architecture degree.
• 5–10 years managing interior fit‑out projects (₹5–50 Cr budgets).
• Proven client management and multi‑project handling experience.
• Strong understanding of BOQs, contracts, and billing.

Required skills

• MS Project or Primavera.
• Advanced Excel.
• ERP tools for financial tracking.
• CAD software for reading and executing drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
