Instrumentation Engineer – Engineering Services

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Instrumentation Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. The role involves translating user and functional requirements into detailed specifications, overseeing technical evaluations, and ensuring safe implementation and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate User Requirement and Functional Requirement specifications for new equipment and instruments.
• Develop design documents, layout drawings and basic engineering designs that meet project standards.
• Generate accurate Bill of Material (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) aligned with technical specifications, budget and schedule.
• Initiate purchase requests based on BOM/BOQ and coordinate with procurement.
• Conduct technical evaluations of instrumentation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in instrumentation.
• Proven experience in preparing specifications, design documentation and BOM/BOQ.
• Familiarity with safety standards applicable to instrumentation and control systems.
