Injection Molding Operator

About the role

The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for running and monitoring injection molding machines in a production environment, ensuring that products are manufactured according to standard operating procedures and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines following SOPs and defined process parameters.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machine and molding defects.
• Support mold changes, machine setup, trial runs, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Monitor production output, quality metrics, rejection rates, and machine downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and adhere to cleanroom procedures.
• Follow safety, 5S, GMP, and quality requirements while keeping the work area tidy.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, Tool & Die or a related discipline (CIPET diploma preferred).
• 1–10 years of experience in injection molding or machine maintenance.
• Experience in cleanroom, medical device, or high‑volume manufacturing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of injection molding machines and molds.
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for molding equipment.
• Understanding of injection molding defects and process parameters.
