Infrastructure Support Engineer – Network

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer specializing in network services to join Bosch’s global IT team in Coimbatore. You will help ensure the performance, availability and health of Bosch’s worldwide datacenter networks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability and overall health across global datacenter infrastructure.
• Handle incidents, alerts, service requests and configuration changes for network services, providing Level 2 support for the global backbone and central hubs.
• Collaborate with international teams, engineering groups, partners and vendors to operate, support, monitor, implement, replace, extend, upgrade and optimise network solutions.
• Execute and improve operational processes, review procedures and documentation related to network monitoring and operations.
• Document issues, log resolution steps and escalate problems to appropriate teams.
• Work closely with Service Managers, Operations Managers and Engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Be available to work in shift hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
• Initiative, dynamism, empathy, proactive attitude, organised, team‑oriented and committed to deadlines.
