Infrastructure Stability Engineer I

About the role

The Infrastructure Stability Engineer I will monitor and support critical IT infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and performance for Invesco's global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor servers (Windows, Linux, Solaris), network devices (Cisco, Juniper), storage systems and communication links.
• Perform business‑ready checks for critical applications and batch jobs, taking corrective actions on failures.
• Use enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds Orion, SCOM) to acknowledge alerts, create incident tickets, and assign them to appropriate teams.
• Triage and troubleshoot production issues, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and maintain accurate shift handover documentation.

Required profile

• 0‑1 years of NOC or L1 support experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies and Wintel services.

Required skills

• Windows, Linux, Solaris server administration
• Cisco and Juniper networking (switches, routers, firewalls, WLC, WAP, VPN)
• SolarWinds Orion, SCOM monitoring tools
• ServiceNow ITSM platform
• ITIL process knowledge
