Information Security Analyst

About the role

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join its Center of Excellence in Gurugram. You will work closely with teams across Canada and India, reporting to the Information Security Manager, and help protect the organization’s assets by monitoring, investigating, and remediating security threats.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and assist in remediation of security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Identify opportunities for security automation and continuous improvement using AI.
• Monitor cloud platform security, fine‑tune dashboards and alerts.
• Perform threat hunting and incident investigations using logs.
• Respond to security incidents, analyze alerts, logs, and threat cases.
• Track cyber‑security trends and internal/external threat intelligence.
• Develop and document standard processes for security operations.
• Prepare reports on security posture, risks, and KPIs for senior management.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience or strong information‑security/IT/networking background.
• Degree or network/system administration background preferred.
• Experience with Netskope Email DLP, Tenable vulnerability management, cloud security, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), email security monitoring, and XDR (Defender for Endpoints) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, encryption, firewalls, Active Directory, anti‑virus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO, NIST, SANS, and CIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
