Information Security Analyst

About the role

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join its Center of Excellence – Information Security in Gurugram. You will work with teams across Canada and India, focusing on vulnerability management, threat hunting, and security monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and assist in remediation of security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Identify opportunities for security automation and continuous improvement using AI.
• Monitor cloud platforms, fine‑tune security dashboards and alerts.
• Perform threat hunting and incident investigation using logs.
• Respond to security incidents and analyze alerts, logs, and threat cases.
• Monitor cyber‑security trends and external/internal threat intelligence.
• Develop and document standard processes for security operations.
• Prepare reports on security posture, risks, and KPIs for senior management.

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience or strong information‑security/IT/networking background; security experience preferred.
• Degree or background in network/system administration preferred.
• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security technologies (TCP/IP, encryption, firewalls, Active Directory, anti‑virus, vulnerability scanners).
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as ISO, NIST, SANS, CIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting at all organizational levels.
• Passion for technology and staying current with information‑security trends.
• Relevant entry‑ or intermediate‑level security certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
