Industrial Electrical Helper

About the role

Astrobase Space Technologies is looking for an Industrial Electrical Helper to support electricians in the installation, maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment in an industrial environment. You will work on a variety of tasks ranging from cable laying to motor upkeep, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installation, maintenance and repair of industrial electrical equipment.
• Support cable laying, glanding and termination activities.
• Help with electrical panel installation and wiring.
• Participate in maintenance of motors, transformers, MCC and control panels.
• Perform conduit, tray and trunking installation.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults on production machinery.
• Handle tools, testing instruments and safety equipment according to industrial safety procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and proper storage of electrical materials on site.
• Support commissioning and shutdown maintenance activities.

Required profile

• ITI Electrician qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrical Helper in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and use of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
