Indirect Tax Specialist (CA Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2‑5 years of hands‑on experience in both direct and indirect tax compliance. The successful candidate will manage GST, VAT, Service Tax and related filings while supporting corporate tax activities in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST, VAT and Service Tax returns, including multi‑state registrations.
• Review invoices and financial records for compliance with indirect tax regulations.
• Reconcile GST returns with the portal, address GSTR‑2A mismatches and prepare audit annexures.
• Assist with tax refunds, respond to notices and implement GST law updates in SAP.
• Prepare and review direct tax returns (TDS, Income Tax, Transfer Pricing) and support tax audits.
• Liaise with auditors on direct tax and transfer pricing matters across group entities.
• Ensure accurate accounting of corporate taxes in line with local policies.

Required profile

• CA qualification with 2‑5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, VAT, Service Tax and direct tax compliance.
• Experience working independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
