Indirect Purchase Manager

About the role

The Indirect Purchase Manager leads the procurement of non‑production goods, services, and capital projects. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining compliance with company standards and ISO requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor procurement activities for indirect materials, services, operational needs and capital projects.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Indirect Purchase team to meet departmental objectives.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery, quality and service performance.
• Manage contracts, commercial agreements and supplier payment terms.
• Develop and maintain the supplier portfolio through cost analysis, strategic sourcing and performance monitoring.
• Support plant operations by procuring consumables, spares and services at competitive prices.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, statutory requirements and internal controls, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Maintain procurement MIS, reports and documentation; support internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimisation and operational‑excellence initiatives.
