Indirect Procurement Associate Analyst

About the role

BASF is building a new Global Hub in India and is looking for an Indirect Procurement Associate Analyst to support portfolio governance, procurement performance monitoring, and process enhancement initiatives. You will work within a globally integrated team, collaborating with Finance and HR functions to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support leadership in analyzing and improving KPIs related to procurement.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for team members.
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the end‑to‑end P2P cycle.
• Coordinate E2E activities within the virtual procurement‑finance team.
• Partner with internal clients to understand needs and provide P2P support, including PO and vendor management.
• Serve as first point of contact for assigned plants, troubleshooting P2P issues.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement or finance experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast‑paced global environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
