Independent Contract Attorney – Remote (AI Training)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join a client’s AI training team on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will apply your contract law expertise to evaluate and improve AI‑generated contract drafts, helping the system learn from real‑world negotiation scenarios across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to test AI suggestions for accuracy and legal soundness.
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios, providing detailed feedback on risks, gaps, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify inconsistencies in AI‑generated drafts and propose corrections aligned with legal standards.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that enhances the reliability of AI‑driven contract tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess legal risks.
• Familiarity with SaaS agreements, technology transactions, and data annotation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
