Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures the accuracy and integrity of daily cash handling processes within the hotel. Working closely with front‑office cashiers and the finance team, you will verify remittances, manage petty cash, and support bank deposit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify daily remittances in the presence of a witness.
• Maintain sufficient change for all cashiers and update foreign‑exchange rates.
• Prepare the General Cashier Daily Report and reimburse front‑office cashiers for disbursements.
• Make scheduled petty‑cash payments and balance cash funds daily.
• Conduct surprise float counts for all cash‑holding areas, including non‑operational cashiers.
• Maintain over‑and‑short records and report findings to the Financial Controller.
• Update monthly float records and track casual labour, valet dockets, and official receipt books.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar cash‑handling or auditing role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Professional appearance and adherence to hotel safety procedures.
