Income Auditor – Hotel Finance

About the role
The Income Auditor ensures accurate cash handling and financial reporting for hotel operations. Working closely with front‑office cashiers and the finance team, you will verify daily remittances, manage petty cash, and support bank deposit activities.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and verify daily cash remittances in the presence of a witness.
- Maintain sufficient change for all cashiers and update foreign‑exchange rates.
- Prepare the General Cashier Daily Report and reimburse front‑office cashiers for disbursements.
- Process petty‑cash payments on scheduled days and balance cash funds daily.
- Conduct surprise float counts for all cash holders, including non‑operational areas such as Talent & Culture and Security.
- Maintain over‑and‑short records for each cashier and report findings to the Financial Controller.
- Update monthly float records and track casual labour, valet dockets, official receipt books, and movement records.
- Participate in fire & life‑safety briefings, meetings and trainings as required.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar cash‑handling or auditing role.
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
- Professional appearance and strong personal hygiene.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proficiency in MS Word.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Experience with relevant accounting systems.
