Inbound Tour Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Inbound Tour Planner to manage inbound travel inquiries for India. The role involves creating customized itineraries, preparing quotations, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings for international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound travel inquiries from international clients from enquiry to confirmation.
• Design customized itineraries covering Indian destinations, hotels, sightseeing and transportation.
• Prepare professional quotations and negotiate with hotels to secure best rates and value‑added benefits.
• Maintain relationships with hotels, DMCs and other travel suppliers.
• Manage costing, contracting, booking coordination and supplier negotiations.
• Communicate effectively and follow up with clients to ensure smooth booking processes.
• Independently manage multiple inquiries and convert them into confirmed bookings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inbound tourism.
• Strong knowledge of Indian destinations, hotels, sightseeing and transportation.
• Proven experience handling international client inquiries.
• Ability to design customized itineraries and prepare professional quotations.
• Strong negotiation skills with hotels and travel suppliers.
• Good relationships with hotels, DMCs and other suppliers.
• Experience in costing, contracting, booking coordination and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple inquiries.
• Preferred experience with European, UK, USA, Australia or other international inbound markets.
