IC Digital Design Engineer

About the role

Aumovio is looking for an experienced IC Digital Design Engineer to architect, design, and verify complex digital front‑end circuits for FPGA and ASIC implementations. The role focuses on delivering high‑performance, reliable, and area‑optimized designs while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and verify digital front‑end circuits, defining requirements and coding high‑quality HDL modules.
• Lead design reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve robustness and efficiency.
• Integrate digital front‑end architectures with analog and mixed‑signal components, applying mixed‑signal knowledge.
• Collaborate with system and application engineers to create cost‑effective, functional solutions.
• Continuously improve design methodologies, workflows, and toolchains to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Electronics Engineering (or related) with 6+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years.
• Proven track record delivering complex digital design projects in multidisciplinary environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL.
• Strong expertise in ASIC and FPGA design flows.
• Experience with UVM, Design for Testability (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Hands‑on use of formal verification tools such as Siemens Questa Formal and Synopsys Spyglass.
• Knowledge of CDC, RDC, and multi‑power‑domain design techniques.
