IBDP Economics Teacher – Grades 11 & 12

About the role

The school seeks an experienced IB Diploma Programme Economics teacher for Grades 11‑12. You will deliver high‑quality instruction that aligns with IB philosophy and prepares students for university study.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, assess and continuously improve Economics lessons for HL and SL.
• Maintain compliance with IB Standards and Practices, including support for Internal Assessment, Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge.
• Contribute to pastoral care, curriculum development, collaborative planning and professional learning.
• Participate actively in co‑curricular programmes and whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Economics or related discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification (mandatory for India).
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, including IB DP Economics.
• Strong understanding of IB assessment practices and standards.
• Experience teaching both Higher Level and Standard Level Economics.
• Excellent lesson‑planning, classroom‑management and assessment skills.
• High professional integrity and commitment to safeguarding.
