IB Early Years Programme Homeroom Teacher – Jaipur

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and nurturing IB Early Years Programme (EYP) Homeroom Teacher to join our school in Jaipur. The successful candidate will create a stimulating, inclusive, child‑centered classroom that follows the IB philosophy and Montessori principles. This role involves planning inquiry‑based learning experiences for pre‑primary children.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with the school's Early Years and IB philosophy.
• Foster inquiry, exploration, creativity, and problem‑solving through play‑based learning.
• Support the development of early literacy, numeracy, communication, social, emotional, and motor skills.
• Integrate music, movement, storytelling, art, and sensory experiences into daily learning.
• Incorporate the IB Learner Profile and approaches to learning into everyday classroom experiences.
• Encourage children's independence, confidence, and self‑expression.
• Use formative assessment strategies to inform planning and instruction.
• Prepare student progress reports and communicate learning outcomes effectively.
• Share regular feedback with parents regarding student development and achievements.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and programme implementation.

Required profile

• IB Certification or training as a Montessori Trained Teacher (MTT) / Nursery Teacher Trainer (NTT) – mandatory.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant subject area.
• Teaching qualification (B.Ed., D.El.Ed., Montessori, ECCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in IB EYP.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood pedagogy.
