Hydraulics Component Design Engineer – Mobile Control Valve & HMI

About the role

We are looking for a Hydraulics Component Design Engineer (Specialist) to lead the design and development of electro‑hydraulic and proportional mobile control valves, as well as HMI and joystick solutions for mobile hydraulics applications. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality hydraulic components that meet performance, cost, and weight targets.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electro‑hydraulic and proportional mobile control valves (sectional, monoblock, HIC) and joysticks.
• Create hydraulic schematics, circuit designs, and configure control valves to meet application requirements.
• Perform cost‑reduction and weight‑reduction analyses and implement improvements.
• Design pressure compensators, spools for load‑sensing and flow‑sharing control valves.
• Develop castings, forgings, and machining processes for hydraulic products.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis in hydraulic designs.
• Generate CAD models and manufacturing drawings compliant with ASME/ISO‑GPS standards.
• Conduct FMEA and root‑cause analysis to ensure product reliability.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, hydraulic schematics, and control system selection.
• Experience with pressure compensator and spool design for load‑sensing applications.
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance analysis, and ASME/ISO‑GPS drawing standards.
• Ability to work independently and deliver complete design packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Domain knowledge of mobile hydraulics is mandatory.
