HVAC CAD Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC CAD Engineer to develop detailed HVAC system drawings for large‑scale corporate, residential and commercial projects in Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed HVAC system drawings, including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
• Interpret architectural and engineering blueprints to create precise and accurate designs.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and other disciplines to integrate HVAC designs with plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
• Assist in load calculations, equipment selection, and design modifications as per project requirements.
• Maintain drawing documentation, version control, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.
• Revise drawings based on client feedback, engineering markups, and site conditions.
• Perform clash detection and coordination in BIM models to avoid conflicts between MEP services.
• Provide technical details and drafting assistance to project teams as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience handling large‑scale corporate, residential, or commercial HVAC projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASHRAE and SMACNA.
