Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will be based on-site in Haridwar and will manage the day‑to‑day HR operations for a diversified manufacturing and warehousing group. You will support policy implementation, ensure statutory compliance, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Handle employee onboarding, documentation, attendance, leave records and maintain personnel files.
• Support HR policy rollout, monitor compliance with Indian labour laws and company standards.
• Assist performance management, appraisal processes and employee engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate benefits administration, respond to routine employee queries and maintain related documentation.
• Participate in recruitment activities: schedule interviews, prepare offer letters and update HR reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with line managers and senior HR leadership to improve HR processes.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Human Resources and HR Management.
• Ability to develop, interpret and implement HR policies in line with regulations.
• Experience administering employee benefits and maintaining accurate employee records.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfort working collaboratively on‑site.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or warehousing environments is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR software.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
