Human Resources Officer – Full‑time

About the role

Rainbow School is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Officer to join our team on a full‑time, on‑site basis in Nellore. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day HR operations for both teaching and non‑teaching staff, ensuring that our HR practices support the school’s academic mission and regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and personnel records for all staff.
• Implement, review, and update school‑level HR policies and compliance procedures.
• Oversee employee benefits, compensation, leave administration, and staff documentation.
• Support performance management, staff development, and training initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, resolve workplace concerns, and promote an inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with school leadership to align HR strategies with institutional goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in an educational or similar institutional setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employee benefits.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical, non‑discriminatory practices.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Nellore.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic HR software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
