Human Resources Manager – Retail

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities for Emm Bee Tradings' retail operations in Jammu and the surrounding region. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building a positive, inclusive workplace while ensuring compliance with labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations for store and support staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee engagement.
• Maintain HR policies, employee records and ensure compliance with labour laws and company standards.
• Handle employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.
• Coordinate training and development programmes and assist leadership with workforce planning.
• Collaborate with store management and corporate HR to align local practices with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; advanced HR certifications are a plus.
• Relevant experience managing HR functions, preferably in retail or customer‑facing environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Jammu and travel to Srinagar as needed.
• Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality and commitment to an inclusive workplace.
