Human Resources Manager – Kolkata

About the role

Diagnex, a fast‑growing integrated healthcare infrastructure company, is expanding its Kolkata operations. We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead day‑to‑day people operations and build scalable HR processes for both clinical and non‑clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for clinical, operational, corporate and support roles, from requirement gathering to offer and onboarding.
• Design and maintain structured recruitment processes, including job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks and candidate tracking.
• Verify qualifications, registrations and credentials for clinical and patient‑facing hires in partnership with the relevant clinical owners.
• Own employee onboarding, induction, documentation, personnel records and exit procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee data and HR records using HR systems or structured databases.
• Coordinate attendance, leave, payroll inputs, statutory documentation and benefits administration.
• Support manpower planning and workforce forecasting across functions as the organisation scales.
• Implement clear probation, confirmation, performance review and performance‑improvement processes.
• Develop practical KRAs and KPIs with department heads and ensure consistent performance reviews.
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in a professional manner.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–4 years of hands‑on HR experience, preferably in a healthcare or fast‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination and employee relations.
• Strong understanding of HR compliance, statutory requirements and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with leadership and functional managers.
• Experience handling clinical recruitment documentation and credential verification is a plus.
