Human Resources Manager – Hospital

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the HR function for a hospital, aligning people strategies with the organization’s clinical and business objectives. This senior position oversees recruitment, employee lifecycle, performance management, compliance, and workforce planning to ensure a high‑performing, engaged staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hospital’s business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for clinical, non‑clinical, and administrative positions.
• Manage employee onboarding, orientation, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Oversee performance management, appraisal cycles, and career development programs.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and hospital HR policies.
• Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary matters.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
• Manage compensation, benefits, leave administration, and payroll coordination.
• Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
• Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives.
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes collaboration and employee satisfaction.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
• 13+ years of HR experience, preferably in the healthcare/hospital industry.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and statutory regulations.
• Experience managing large healthcare workforces is preferred.
