Human Resources Generalist

About the role

Skills Agency is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist who will primarily focus on IT recruitment while also supporting day‑to‑day HR operations. The role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys fast‑paced startup environments and wants to own the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for 80% of IT roles and support 20% of HR operational tasks.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, job portals, referrals and other channels.
• Screen, shortlist and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain clear communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Oversee onboarding activities to ensure smooth new‑hire integration.
• Collaborate with external vendors, consultancies and recruitment partners.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, internal events and general HR operations.
• Provide day‑to‑day employee support and resolve routine queries.
• Track recruitment metrics and keep hiring managers updated on progress.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proven ability to source candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Strong understanding of common IT roles and technologies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, startup‑oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of operational responsibilities.
• Experience in vendor management and stakeholder coordination.
• Organized, able to multitask and manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.
• Prior startup experience is a plus.
