Hub Operations Manager – Express Logistics

About the role

The Hub Operations Manager will lead an assigned shift, overseeing end‑to‑end line haul activities across air, road and rail. You will ensure schedules are created, monitored and adjusted to meet client SLAs while coordinating with vendors, branches and local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor line haul operations for all transportation modes.
• Create weekly line haul schedules and manage daily adjustments using internal systems.
• Implement policies, participate in audits and propose corrective actions.
• Monitor vehicle availability, commercial connections and follow up on delayed shipments.
• Maintain shipment records and ensure SLA compliance for each client.
• Collaborate with forecasting teams to improve base forecasts and scheduling methodologies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to develop schedules that meet stakeholder expectations.
• Prepare operational plans for peak periods and festive loads.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships and ensure training on company policies and systems.
• Oversee cash receivables, deposits and regular reconciliations with Finance.
• Liaise with local authorities to facilitate smooth operations.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• 2–3 years of experience managing shift operations in a logistics hub.
• Proven ability to manage route, transhipment and local delivery operations.
• Effective communication with branches and vendors.
