HR Specialist – Premium Accounts (Merchant Business Unit)

About the role

PhonePe is seeking an HR Specialist to lead HR operations for its Premium Accounts within the Merchant Business Unit. You will partner closely with regional stakeholders to align workforce planning with business objectives and ensure smooth talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with talent acquisition partners to source, interview, and extend offers to qualified candidates.
• Synchronise workforce requirements with the annual operating plan, considering organisational layers and spans.
• Execute the performance management cycle, including regular check‑ins, final evaluations, and documentation.
• Facilitate performance improvement discussions for low performers and track progress against improvement plans.
• Drive organisational health initiatives and support managers in building effective teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, and performance management.
• Ability to work closely with regional business leaders and influence HR processes.
• Strong analytical mindset to align workforce planning with business goals.
