HR Shared Services Center Team Lead

About the role

Welspun is seeking an experienced HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) Team Lead to manage a centralized team that delivers high‑volume HR transactions and administrative support across the organization. The role bridges strategic HR objectives with day‑to‑day operations, ensuring employee requests are processed quickly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, mentor, and develop a team of HR specialists or coordinators, handling work allocation and performance management.
• Oversee end‑to‑end hire‑to‑retire processes, including onboarding, off‑boarding, data updates, and contract management.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and Service Level Agreements to guarantee timely resolution of employee queries.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Act as the escalation point for complex or Tier‑2 HR issues that cannot be resolved by basic help‑desk support.
• Ensure all HR data and transactions comply with local labor laws, data‑privacy regulations, and internal audit standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR service delivery or shared services teams.
• Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
