HR Operations Intern – 5‑Month Programme

About the role

This 5‑month internship gives you hands‑on exposure to People Services at Rolls‑Royce in Bangalore. You will support daily HR operations, interact with employees and learn core HR processes while working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HR cases, calls and web‑chats, guiding employees from engagement to resolution.
• Process HR transactions such as onboarding, data updates, payroll inputs, leave management and exit formalities.
• Monitor, track and close service requests in line with SLA commitments.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost service efficiency.
• Deliver high‑quality, detail‑oriented customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies, labour laws and data‑protection guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Comfort working in ambiguous situations and seeking clarification.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality and integrity.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
