HR Manager – Sales & Marketing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions for a large field sales and marketing workforce within a leading pharma manufacturer. The role involves partnering with Sales & Marketing leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives and ensure a high‑performing, engaged team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end HR processes for field sales and marketing teams across multiple locations.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing leaders on workforce planning, manpower forecasting, and HR strategy.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and the full employee lifecycle.
• Drive performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Maintain HR policies, processes, and employee relations specific to the sales workforce.
• Analyse sales‑force HR metrics such as attrition, productivity, and retention.
• Support learning & development, capability building, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company HR policies and applicable labour laws.
• Act as HR Business Partner to regional Sales & Marketing teams.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.
• 12–15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in FMCG or pharma.
• Proven experience managing HR for field sales personnel.
• Strong understanding of sales‑force dynamics, employee engagement, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and people‑management skills.
