HR Manager – Recruitment & Payroll (Hospital)

About the role

Apollo Hospitals, a leading healthcare provider in India, is looking for an experienced HR professional to manage recruitment, payroll administration and employee relations across its hospital network. The role reports to senior leadership and works closely with department heads to ensure staffing needs are met and HR policies are effectively implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end recruitment and payroll administration for the hospital.
• Collaborate with department heads and the CEO on manpower planning and additional staffing requirements.
• Update HIS payroll records and prepare medical insurance coverage data for submission to E‑Med Life Insurance.
• Implement and oversee the hospital’s performance appraisal system.
• Communicate regularisation, confirmation and promotion decisions to employees.
• Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met on a monthly, bi‑annual and yearly basis.
• Address employee grievances and manage disciplinary procedures.
• Process full and final settlements and ensure timely salary payments.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Graduate with MBA in Human Resources (first division in 10th, 12th and graduation).
• 8–10 years of experience in recruitment, payroll administration and HR operations.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to multitask.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
