HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, people‑oriented HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function in Guwahati. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance, training, and engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and attendance data.
• Handle employee relations issues and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
• Coordinate payroll, leave, attendance, and benefits administration.
• Conduct performance appraisals and employee evaluation processes.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development programs.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, MIS, and workforce analysis for management.
• Manage disciplinary procedures and grievance handling when required.
• Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
• 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and HR compliance.
• Good understanding of applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HRMS/HR software.
