HR Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The HR Manager will lead the full spectrum of human resources activities for a hospitality operation in Hyderabad. This position bridges operational demands with people strategy, ensuring the workforce delivers exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for frontline, culinary, and managerial roles.
• Design and deliver onboarding and training programs aligned with brand service standards.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations, handling grievances and promoting retention.
• Implement performance appraisal systems and KRA tracking focused on guest satisfaction metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, oversee payroll processing, attendance tracking, and statutory benefits.
• Create and lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a guest‑first culture.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of core HR experience, with at least 2 years in the hospitality industry.
• MBA in HR, MHRM, or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the hospitality labour market, seasonal hiring trends, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Labour Acts).
• Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRMS platforms.
• Experience using payroll software and attendance tracking systems.
