HR Generalist (US Operations)

About the role

Relay Human Cloud is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support its US‑based clients from our Ahmedabad office. The role focuses on end‑to‑end employee lifecycle activities, recruitment, and compliance for US operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support US HR operations, including onboarding, documentation, and coordination with US stakeholders.
• Facilitate employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and exit formalities.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and HR metrics.
• Assist payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and employee data updates.
• Coordinate employee engagement events and recognition programs.
• Address employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
• Help implement performance management, employee development initiatives, and HR policies.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Manage full‑cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and hiring manager coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience as a US HR Generalist, including recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
