HR Faculty Member – Course Development & Teaching

About the role

Blue Ocean Corporation is seeking an experienced HR professional to join its academy as a faculty member. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve HR courses for both classroom and virtual learners, ensuring alignment with industry standards and the academy’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and regularly update HR curriculum and course materials.
• Maintain high instructional quality and evaluate teaching methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and relevant regulations.
• Conduct engaging classroom or virtual sessions, workshops, webinars, and hands‑on activities.
• Create assessments (quizzes, exams, projects) and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Offer guidance and support to students, including one‑on‑one or group assistance.
• Stay current in HR practice through research, professional development, and participation in conferences.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum development discussions.
• Uphold ethical standards and foster an inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP).
• Prior teaching or corporate training experience with a strong passion for student success.
• Demonstrated expertise in HR concepts and practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate learners in both classroom and online settings.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational technologies.
