HR Executive – Labour Relations (Madurai)

About the role

The HR Executive – Labour Relations will oversee employee and industrial relations for Coats’ Madurai facility. Reporting to senior HR leadership, the role ensures compliance with Indian labour legislation, manages union interactions, and fosters a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between management and staff to resolve grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflicts.
• Maintain statutory registers, process PF, ESI, gratuity, minimum wage compliance and coordinate audits and government filings.
• Manage union negotiations, collective bargaining, and draft industrial relations policies.
• Implement and update HR policies in line with legal changes and company standards.
• Prepare MIS reports on absenteeism, attrition, grievances and labour compliance status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Law or Industrial Relations.
• 2–5 years of experience in labour/industrial relations or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
