HR Business Partner – Global HR

About the role

The HR Business Partner will support MillerKnoll's IBU teams in India, helping to build, retain and develop world‑class talent across roughly 250 employees. Reporting to the Global HR Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, aligning people strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with 2‑3 business units as a trusted HR advisor.
• Translate business goals into actionable people strategies for assigned teams.
• Design and implement talent attraction, retention and development initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Manage employee grievances, engagement programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes and consistent policy application.
• Support leaders on exits, disciplinaries, investigations and other employee‑relations matters.
• Coach leaders on learning and development needs and coordinate training solutions with the talent team.
• Partner in implementing competitive compensation, rewards and benefits strategies.
• Work with the global HR team on cross‑group projects and ensure local implementation.
• Facilitate high employee engagement and retention through advocacy and communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience partnering with business units on HR matters.
• Strong understanding of employee‑relations processes and HR policies.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical people initiatives.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leaders.
