Housekeeping Desk Coordinator

About the role

The Fern Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full‑time Housekeeping Desk Coordinator to be based on its Diu property. The role serves as the central point for daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest requests are handled promptly and room status is accurately tracked.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping activities and assign tasks to room attendants.
• Handle guest requests, internal calls, and communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Maintain and update room status, housekeeping records, and inventory logs for linen and supplies.
• Prepare and distribute reports on housekeeping performance and inventory levels.
• Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary and follow up on task completion.

Required profile

• Experience in housekeeping coordination or front/back‑office hotel operations.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and environmental standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or equivalent relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hotel Management or Property Management Systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office for reporting and data entry.
• Basic data entry and reporting capabilities.
