About the role
The Housekeeping Attendant is a full‑time, on‑site position at our Gangtok property. You will ensure guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas are clean, safe and welcoming, supporting the overall guest experience of Summit Hotels & Resorts.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas to established standards.
- Make beds, replenish linens and amenities, dust, vacuum and ensure all areas are hygienic, safe and presentable.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, report maintenance issues and follow all hotel procedures and safety guidelines.
Required profile
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Organizational ability to manage daily cleaning tasks and prioritize workloads.
- Physical capability to lift, stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
Required skills
- Basic laundry handling and operation of simple laundry equipment.
- Understanding of hygiene, safety and sanitation standards in a hotel environment.
